Garia bulletins contain important information about various technical issues. Please make sure to read all bulletins carefully and contact us if you have any further questions about any of the issues mentioned. 

There are three different kinds of bulletins:

  • Service bulletin: adresses subjects that must be checked or changed during service.
  • Policy bulletin: addresses open issues to be checked or changed only if the customer files a claim. Defective part will be recalled for further investigation.
  • Recall bulletin: vehicle will be recalled to the workshop and the defective part must be changed.

All bulletins are published on this page of the Dealer Extranet and will also be sent to subscribers of the Garia Bulletin mailing list.

Service bulletin 11: Relion 100 Ah Battery Communication Loss

Garia has identified that Relion 100Ah batteries with the on/off button on top could have a faulty software. This faulty software could cause a loss of communication between the battery and controller.

The customer could experience any or all of the following symptoms.
1. "Critical battery level" message on the instrument cluster.
2. The on/off button will not turn off.
3. The car will not drive and may come to an immediate stop if in motion..

The Bulletin is updated 31-01-2020

Garia has discovered an amp draw concern with fuse 14.  

This fuse, although rated for its use, has proven to get very warm. Garia suspects that this happens due to poor connection in the terminals
Replacing mini fuse 14 (30amp) located in the fuse box under the bonnet with an external Midi style fuse will correct this concern.  

This recall replaces Service Bulletin 7. If Service bulletin 7 has been carried out on the vehicle no further action is required.

Please check that Service bulletin 5 is completed or else do Service bulletin 5 also.

Policy bulletin 17: Utility door holder repair kit

Garia have made an improvement to the mounting of the door holder to make sure the door will keep locking properly. 

Affected Models: Utility cars with doors produced before July 2019.

Policy bulletin 16: Charging & storing your Garia - relion battery

Garia has discovered a usage pattern where the customer is not allowing the Relion lithium battery to be fully charged and calibrated. This usage pattern can lead to incorrect Battery Discharge Indication (BDI) displayed on the instrument cluster resulting in an imbalance between BDI and actual voltage.

Affected Models: All Cars with lithium batteries

Service Bulletin 5: 32V fuse replacement

Garia has discovered a risk with the fuses F14,F15,F17 these fuses are only rated to 32V and not 58V.  

Affected Models: All Models built prior to 2019.
